Headed out to about 850 feet deep off West Oahu and saw a giant bird pile. Then noticed Aku (Skipjack Tuna) launching out of the water hitting a bait ball. Had some Aku lures out back trolling around the surface action. Had a second one on but lost it. It was truly exhilarating to be in the middle of the feeding frenzy. Made some poke and tonkatsu aku with the filets. Really delicious.
