Betta Fish: Is this a normal spot on my fishy

hi all, I am a fairly new beta owner and want to ensure my boy is in the best health possible, does the small black speck on his boy look like the natural marble gene or something more serious? my parameters are normal and he is not lethargic, I’m aware this is probably new parent anxiety, and the dot is is very small but any help would be appreciated!
