Mannnnn it was blazing out today. I got out around 7 AM for another bike session. Went to one of the spots I hit up yesterday. Lost two over 4lbs within the first 45 minutes on the worm. I forgot to sharpen my hook on the Texas rig last night. Did it after I lost the second one. Ventured into the community, same pond but northern end and middle. Thought the bite would be on but I only managed to get one bite and that’s the only bass I landed. Fished the spot where I parked my truck, by the highschool, and caught this little guy on the lipless.
By that time I felt like I was slowly being cooked. Called it at that point. I guess it was a two and through kinda day lol.

Catching a bluegill on a lipless is wild. Never knew they were that ambitious. Today I found a dead bluegill smaller than that one at my local pond that was gut hooked on a minnow. I didn’t even know bluegill will try to take minnows.
