Gourami in the first two pictures is my female Gordon. I was given her by an owner who had her for over a year and could no longer care for her. I’ve had her for about a year. She has small pin prick holes in her head which I’ve treated for and it kinda stays the same I’m assuming scars from a past illness. Second gourami is a male named Zipper. His owner is a close friend of mine who unknowingly bought two males and was keeping them together. They were fighting a lot when I was visiting. I rarely visit since she lives out of town. She suggested I take one, since she had no where else to put the other male. She was really worried about Zipper getting killed by the other male so I brought him home with me. (Hesitantly… since I don’t want Gordon to die if he has gourami disease) I feel like Gordan (female) is an exception since the disease usually takes a year to develop and she’s older. I really love both fish. Gordan is in a 75 and Zipper is in a 39 in the other room. How do I keep Gordan safe? Can they ever live together in the 75? I would love to breed some disease free gourami if I can in the future.
